Description:

This piece was inspired by my house's curb. I'm amazed at how fascinating the concrete changed colours after being exposed to the sun and rain overtime through the years. The textures give me a sense of mystery, which encourages viewers to ponder and to have their own interpretation. 

If you see it closely, it has interesting details that makes you go into a depth of wonder. The combination colour of black, white and the shades of gray in between creates a sense of elegant, sophistication and power moves. Mixed media such as modeling paste, texture paste, sand, ink, acrylic and gold leaf were used for this piece.
