Lim Yong Wei

Born in 1993, Penang, Yong Wei received her formal art education in Dasein Academy of Arts, KL, where she graduated with a Diploma in Fine Arts in 2014. Later she finished her Honours and Master studies in Visual Arts, Otago Polytechnic, New Zealand respectively in 2016 and 2018. After working and travelling in New Zealand for 2 years, she has decided to return to Malaysia to pursue her art career. Since 2014, Yong Wei has participated in group exhibitions in both Malaysia and New
Zealand; she was also an active member of the Otago Art Society from 2018-2019. Yong Wei has won first place in Art for Peace organized by Dhammachai International Research Institute (2019) and entered the biennial Cleveland National Art Awards (2019). She is currently working in the art education industry and continue to create art on her free time.
