Khadeeja Khairie
Khadeeja Khairie is 8 years old and was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and slow in development since 3 years old. Currently, she stays in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia with her parents and she is the youngest from 4 siblings.
She is now schooling at Sekolah Rendah Raja Muda, Seksyen 4, Shah Alam, Selangor, which is an integrated school with the Special Education Program. She is also attending Early Intervention Program after school at AIMS Therapy Learning Centre, Seksyen 7, Shah Alam.
She started her first art class at the age of 6 years old under START Art Program (Special Talented Artists Rise Together to polish her skill and talent in art. She enjoyed the class a lot as she can freely play around with lots of colours and can hold her patience during the lessons. From there, she continuously attend the art class until today.
Based on the observation from her art teachers, Khadeeja can actually stay clam and focused during art class, and most of the paintings produced is expressing different story in abstract forms. She is also showing improvement in mixing colours based on her own choices.
