Nadyne Zia Alveena

Nadyne Zia Alveena Binti Zul-Azri was born on April 11th, 2011. She attends school at The Olive Trees School in Bukit Jelutong.

At 13 years old, Nadyne is a young artist whose abstract paintings serve as a powerful form of emotional expression. She began creating art at age 7, finding in painting a way to communicate feelings that can bedifficult to convey through words.

Diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome at the age of 3, Nadyne has faced challenges with social communication, yet her art has become an essential outlet for expressing her inner world.

Her work is deeply influenced by her emotions, ranging from happiness to sadness, with vibrant colours - particularly rainbows - playing a central role in her pieces. Abstract art allows Nadyne to explore and release her feelings freely, often creating works that are open to personal interpretation. Although she sometimes struggles with focus, she can spend hours immersed in her painting, enjoying the freedom and peace it brings her.

2024 marks a significant milestone in Nadyne’s artistic journey, as she exhibited her work for the first time. The opportunity to share her art with others is her greatest achievement so far and a proud moment in her young career. Looking ahead, Nadyne dreams of using art not only as a form of expression but also as a potential career. She hopes to continue developing her skills and one day turn her passion for art into a fulfilling livelihood.

Through her work, Nadyne proves that art can be a bridge between inner experience and the outside world, offering both a personal outlet and a shared space for connection.
