Luqman Hakim Bin Mohd Shahril

Luqman Hakim bin Mohd Shahril, an energetic and delightful 9-year-old, was born on 28 August 2015 in Selangor. Diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and an intellectual developmental delay at the age of 5, Luqman currently resides in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia, with his parents and 3 siblings. He attends a government school in Shah Alam, which has an integrated Special Education Program.
Luqman’s artistic journey began with his passion for drawing anime characters and superheroes. His ability to focus and dedication to completing his artwork became evident early on. This talent led to an opportunity to join art classes, where he learned from professional instructors. In this creative environment, Luqman flourished, enjoying the freedom to explore and experiment with vibrant colors.
These art classes ignited his love for painting, which he now pursues independently at home, often alongside his siblings. Over time, Luqman has grown more confident in his artistic abilities and finds immense joy in creating art without external pressure. His routine painting sessions at home have nurtured his love for playing with colors and combinations. Luqman’s creativity shines through in his abstract paintings, reflecting his observations of his surroundings.
