Born on March 10th, 2016, Muhammad Tuah Izqandar bin Mohd Syazwan was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder at the age of 6. In order to help him on his sensory, and upon suggestion from the therapist; his mother introduced him to painting. And from that moment, he took interest in it and is seen having fun doing it.
Currently, Tuah Izqandar is going for a one-to-one art sessions with an amazing artist; Teacher Elly Nor Suria, once a week and spending his mornings free time painting with his mother.
In 2024, Tuah Izqandar sold his first painting during his debut group exhibition, The Art of Autism, organized by NARC UiTM Shah Alam and the START Art Program. It was an amazing experience for Tuah Izqandar and a stepping stone on a more remarkable journey ahead.
