Calm and hope. The pandemic forces us to pause our daily life to be unable to freely moved and even banned travel outside of our country. This Lavender Field with the major color of purple, comes with great symbolism of purity and devotion of serenity. It creates soothing feelings with just a glance. Adding a home in the middle of the field is a great expression that space is needed to calm ourselves in the meantime.

A little bit about the Artist

NOR LIYANA @ LANA is a self-taught painter born in Alor Setar, Kedah, Malaysia. She was an engineering postgraduate and researcher for a while before becoming a full-time painter. 

A lover of nature, painting has been her escapism where she loves to draw special attention through scenery, landscapes and flowers. Lana found joy in painting and expressing her feelings onto her artworks.
