Mekar in Bahasa Malaysia means bloom. Flowers that flourish well are very much related to starting from good seeds, fertile soil and having enough supply of water and sun. Nevertheless, when the right time comes, flowers will eventually bloom beautifully on their own.
Flowers in this artwork personify human life. Most people 'bloom' earlier than others. Still, people who have yet to 'bloom' shouldn't be defined as a failure. Hence, when the time comes along with effort, we will be like flowers that bloom flawlessly, spreading its pleasant fragrance and scent into the air.
Be like the flowers, always trust the process. "A flower doesn't have the intention to compete with the flower next to it. It just blooms on its own."
This art is dedicated especially to those who are struggling continuously yet still try to give their best effort in life. I believe they will bloom beautifully, as the flower does.
____
