My niece's love for pink colours and her cherished pink octopus toy inspired me to create this painting. It reminds me of the saying that our colour preferences change as we grow older (from pink [childhood] to black [teenager] to pink [adulthood). I aim to capture this childhood memory through the use of colours and imagery in my art.
